Lagos Deepwater HSE Training

Continental Energy was commissioned to design and deliver a comprehensive HSE training programme for personnel preparing for deployment on deepwater offshore operations in the Lagos deep offshore basin. The programme was developed to meet OPITO international standards and the specific requirements of the client’s deepwater safety management system.

The curriculum was developed in collaboration with the client’s HSE leadership team and covered emergency response procedures, permit-to-work systems, gas detection and escape protocols, and offshore survival techniques. Training was delivered over a four-week period in both classroom and practical settings, with competency assessments conducted at the close of each module.

All 200+ personnel successfully completed the programme and received full certification, equipping the workforce with the skills and knowledge required for safe and effective deepwater operations.
