Port Harcourt Refinery Turnaround

Continental Energy provided comprehensive turnaround support services during a planned 45-day maintenance shutdown at the Port Harcourt Refinery. Our scope included the supply of certified technical personnel, specialist equipment, and on-site coordination across multiple disciplines.

Over 80 engineers and technicians were deployed across mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, and civil disciplines. Continental Energy’s site supervisors worked alongside the refinery’s maintenance management team to execute over 300 individual work packages within the approved turnaround schedule. Strict permit-to-work and HSE protocols were enforced throughout the shutdown period.

All critical path milestones were achieved within the 45-day window and within the approved budget, enabling the refinery to return to full production capacity on the target restart date.
